My Name is Larry Watts aka “DJ Beamz!” 

I’m a very outgoing person that loves all things music. I am the Owner and Head Mobile DJ at Watts Entertainment. I have a passion for the craft of DJing that I love to share with people every chance I get.


I have been DJing since my school days, creating mixtapes and throwing basement parties with my friends. Business wise, I have serviced the Evansville Area since 2012, & Watts Entertainment was founded in 2013. Our focus of service has mainly been Weddings and Private Parties, but we’ve handled our fair share of School Dances, Corporate and Non Profit Events also.

With over 8 years of experience, Watts Entertainment caters to all events including: Weddings, Parties, School Dances, and Corporate Functions.


We offer DJ & Photo Booth entertainment that creates an atmosphere of joy, singing along, and dancing all night. We also offer lighting, and much more to take your event to the next level.   • HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO YOU BOOK?

    A good time frame is at least six months before the event. However, we have DJs available for last minute events as well. Contact us for date availability.

  • WHAT TYPE OF MUSIC DO YOU OFFER?

    Our music library is suitable for all occasions and can be modified for any event. We feature music from the 1950's all the way up to today's top 40. We have it and we can mix the songs together to make the music work for your entire guest list. This is where our experience stands out. Before we were rocking weddings we were dj's FIRST!

  • WHAT KIND OF PAYMENTS DO YOU ACCEPT?

    We accept cash, money orders, and cashier's check.  We try to make all of the payments as simple as possible.  So you’re free to use debit, credit, or PayPal to make all of your payments.  On some packages we also offer affordable payment plans so you can go "all out" and ease the financial burden. 

  • OUR COCKTAIL HOUR IS GOING TO BE IN A SEPARATE ROOM FROM THE RECEPTION. IS THAT A PROBLEM?

    No problem. We suggest that you opt for us to provide an additional sound system which allows for uninterrupted music as your guests mingle and enjoy catching up over a cocktail.

  • DO I HAVE SAMPLES OF YOUR WORK?

    DJ Beamz has a personal Mixcloud page where some of our DJs post original mixes. We do not post any of our wedding or event mixes as each event we do is unique to that client.

  • DO WE TAKE REQUESTS?

    Yes. We do take song requests and often play many of them. But we also filter requests we get from guests. So if we get a request for a song or genre that you’ve specified a “Do Not Play,” we won’t play it. But also, if someone requests a song that fits well with your vibe and music choices, the DJ may play it. It’s important to remember that your DJ knows which tracks get the dance floor going and which ones may clear it out. We don’t just show up and press play on a pre-made set, we have the flexibility to react to the vibe of the crowd. We also offer an online planning system, so you can specify your tastes and favorite songs before the event so there’s no surprises.

  • IS A RETAINER REQUIRED TO RESERVE OUR DATE?

    Yes. We require a 25% retainer to reserve and secure your date. That retainer holds your date and is taken out of the final balance.  We can also set you up on an easy pay payment plan. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your event. 

  • WHAT IF, AT THE RECEPTION, WE WANT OUR EVENT HOST TO PLAY BEYOND THE CONTRACTED TIME?

    Not a problem. We only book one event per host per day, so there are no time restrictions until midnight. Simply authorize the DJ to stay as long as you would like. We will verify with the venue and continue the party! *includes additional fee*
